Readme ****************************************************************************************** Limitations on Driver Software for Windows Vista

This driver software provides the following functions. (1) Formatting in Pseudo OverWrite mode/UDF2.60 form of a blank BD-R disc. (2) Reading and writing of a BD-R disc of Pseudo OverWrite mode/UDF2.60 form. (3) A setup and release of a BD-R disc of write-protection.
There is limitation on the following use by limitation of Windows Vista. (1) The copy/move of the file/folder on a BD-R disc - It will become a copy operation if a file/folder is dragged & dropped to other folders. - If it moves, please drop pushing the Shift key. - However, in the case of a guest user, it will become a move operation if it dragging & dropping. - If copying, please drop pushing the Ctrl key. (2) Limitation at the time of the move of a file/folder on a BD-R disc - The following menus are not displayed even if it drags and drops a file/folder with the right button of a mouse. Copy Here Move Here Create Shortcuts Here Cancel - This operation always turns into a copy operation. - If it moves a file/folder, please drop dragging with the left button of a mouse and pushing the Shift key. (3) On the arbitrary folders on a BD-R disc, it is limitation at the time of the copy of the file/folder into the same folder. - The copy dropped while dragging a file/folder and pushing the Ctrl key is not made. - Please use a context menu "copy" and "paste". (4) Limitation at the time of overwrite of the file/folder to a BD-R disc - Overwrite will be impossible if it overwrites the same file/folder to a BD-R disc, and there is no free area more than the size of the file/folder to overwrite. (5) Limitation when formatting a blank BD-R disc with Windows Vista par formatting software - If blank BD-R is formatted with Vista par formatting software, formatting will fail. (Since Vista is not supporting formatting of BD-R) - Formatting of blank BD-R becomes impossible by DVDForm after formatting failure. - Read/Write of the CD/DVD/BD disc which can be written in becomes impossible after formatting failure. - If a personal computer is rebooted, it will recovery.
The following functions cannot be used by limitation of this driver. (1) "Error checking" which can be used from the tool of the property of a drive cannot be used. (2) "chkdsk" from a command prompt cannot be used.
The limitation on ATAPI interface connection Some device drivers which are released by chipset vendor for IDE controller on the PC may cause trouble to connect ATAPI drive to the IDE interface. Please use OS default IDE driver.
